Website Privacy & Cookies Notice — stackerlive.com

Last updated: 19 May 2026 Effective from: 19 May 2026

This notice covers the stackerlive.com website. It does not cover the StackerLive iOS app — see our separate App Privacy Policy for that.

1. Who we are

This website is operated by StackerLive Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales.

  • Company number: 17038539
  • Registered address: 44 High Street, Dartford, United Kingdom, DA1 1DE
  • Contact: contact@stackerlive.com

For the purposes of UK and EU data protection law, StackerLive Ltd is the data controller for any personal data processed via this website.

2. The short version

  • This website is a static marketing site. It exists to tell you about the StackerLive iOS app and to host our legal documents.
  • We do not use cookies for analytics, advertising, or tracking.
  • We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party tracking script.
  • We do not ask you to sign up, log in, or fill in any forms on this website.
  • We do not embed third-party content (YouTube, social widgets, Google Maps, etc.) on this site.

If that’s enough, you can stop reading. The sections below explain in more detail.

3. Cookies

This website does not set any cookies of its own, and does not use cookies for analytics, marketing, or tracking purposes.

Our hosting provider may set strictly-necessary technical cookies to operate the site (for example, to balance load between servers or to remember a security state during a single visit). These are exempt from the consent requirement under PECR (the UK’s cookie regulations) because they are essential to delivering the site you requested.

If we add analytics or other non-essential cookies in future, we will update this notice and present a cookie banner asking for your consent before any such cookie is set.

4. Server logs

Our hosting provider keeps standard web-server logs of requests to the site. These logs typically include:

  • The IP address of the device making the request.
  • The page or file requested.
  • The date and time of the request.
  • The browser type and operating system (the “User-Agent” string).
  • The referring page, if any.

These logs are used solely for security, abuse-prevention, and basic operational diagnostics (for example, identifying broken links or denial-of-service attempts). They are retained for a short period by our hosting provider and then automatically deleted.

We do not use server logs to build profiles of visitors or to track you across visits.

5. Contacting us by email

If you email us at contact@stackerlive.com, we will hold your email address and the content of your message for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case of follow-up. We do not add email addresses obtained this way to any marketing list.

Email is not an inherently secure medium. Please do not send sensitive personal data (e.g. financial account numbers) by email.

6. Third-party links

The website may link to third-party sites (such as the Apple App Store listing for the App, or our processors’ websites linked from the App Privacy Policy). We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those third-party sites. When you follow a link off this site, you are subject to the other site’s own privacy notice.

7. Your rights

If you are in the UK or EU, you have the following rights under GDPR in respect of any personal data we hold about you (which, for visitors to this website, is limited to your email correspondence with us and short-term server-log entries):

  • The right to be informed (this notice).
  • The right of access (a copy of what we hold).
  • The right to rectification (correction of inaccurate data).
  • The right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”).
  • The right to restrict processing.
  • The right to data portability.
  • The right to object.
  • Rights related to automated decision-making (we do not engage in this).

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@stackerlive.com. We will respond within one month.

If you believe we are processing your data unlawfully, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (https://ico.org.uk) or your local supervisory authority.

8. International visitors

The website is operated from the United Kingdom but is accessible worldwide. By using the website you understand that any information you send us (for example, by email) will be received and processed in the UK.

9. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top. If we make a material change — for example, introducing analytics cookies or a contact form — we will surface the change before activating the new behaviour.
